Mission Adventures 2018

Sponsored by the Rocky Mountain Conference Global Board of Ministries Team, these workshops are designed to help you find your way of engaging in mission work.  The workshops will be focusing on Disaster Preparedness and Response, Volunteers in Mission, Supporting Missionaries as well as an overview of several other Mission Service Opportunities.  Training Sessions will include the UMCOR Disaster Preparedness program “Connecting Neighbors” and a class to become a Volunteer in Mission team leader.

The first “Mission Adventures” seminar in 2018 will feature a series of workshops and training activities to help you find your way of engaging in mission work.  During this session you will learn how United Methodists organize to engage in mission globally as well as locally and the resources which the “Methodist” connection provides around the world.
